Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for the ultimate indulgence.

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

For the Pecan Filling:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

For the Streusel Topping:

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pie Crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges. Set aside.
  2. Make the Pecan Filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until well combined. Stir in the pecan halves, then pour the filling into the prepared crust.
  3. Prepare the Streusel Topping: In a medium bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the chopped pecans.
  4. Assemble the Pie: Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the pecan pie filling.
  5. Bake the Pie: Place the pie on a baking sheet to catch any drips and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the streusel topping is golden brown. If the crust begins to brown too quickly, cover the edges with aluminum foil.
  6. Cool and Serve: Allow the pie to cool completely on a wire rack before slicing. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.

Enjoy this delicious twist on a classic pecan pie!
