Ingredients

  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Steak:
    • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the thinly sliced steak. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the steak is browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté Vegetables:
    • In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté until the onions are translucent and the peppers are tender, about 5-6 minutes. Return the steak to the skillet and mix everything together.
  4. Assemble the Sliders:
    • Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a baking dish. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on each, if desired. Evenly distribute the steak and vegetable mixture over the buns. Top with slices of provolone cheese, then place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
  5. Add Toppings:
    • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and Worcestershire sauce. Brush the mixture over the top of the slider buns.
  6. Bake:
    • Cover the sliders with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and let the sliders cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Philly Cheesesteak Sliders warm!

These sliders are best enjoyed fresh, but you can also prepare them ahead of time and reheat them before serving. They’re sure to be a hit with anyone who tries them!
